NotiFly was built with a simple, uncompromising principle: your data belongs to you. We do not believe in tracking our users or monetizing their personal information. The app is designed to work entirely on your device, ensuring your celebrations remain private.

To provide maximum transparency, here is what NotiFly does NOT do:

• We do not have accounts or store your data on our servers.
• We do not track your location or usage patterns.
• We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone.

All information you enter into NotiFly is stored locally on your device's internal storage. This includes:

• Names and birthdates of your contacts.
• Relationships and gender information (used for gift ideas).
• Notification preferences and peak reminder times.
• Custom categories and celebration history.

Our AI Gift Finder uses Google Gemini 1.5 Flash to generate personalized suggestions. When you request gift ideas:

• Only non-identifying data (age, gender, relationship) is sent to the AI service.
• Individual names are never transmitted or shared.
• Requests are processed via a secure Cloudflare worker.

NotiFly requests specific permissions to function correctly, which you can manage in your device settings at any time:

• Contacts & Calendar: Only used if you choose to import birthdays.
• Notifications: Used to deliver reminders at your preferred time.
• Exact Alarms: Necessary for surgical timing of your reminders.

Because your data is local, you have full control over it. You can use the Backup & Restore feature to export your data to a JSON file for manual transfers or archival purposes. We do not have access to these backup files unless you explicitly share them with us for support.
